Rather than retweeting others comments she would be better off making her own. I think there are some genuine concerns about having transmen in women's shelters but retweeting the Donald's comment's is not smart.

There are genuine concerns with some of Kaepernick's actions (have we discussed them here?), but you'd have to be pretty tone deaf to "like" the comment about Kaepernick if you are a pro athlete trying to keep your sponsors happy.

“Hope everyone had a happy 4th! Colin Kapernick sure did back in 2011, before he realized that if he grew an afro and played the part of victim, he could scam the black community out of millions. Those were the days!”

Twitter's algorithm serves up suggested Tweets unless you change the settings. For someone like Dygart, with thousands of followers, her liking of these tweets resulted in them being inserted into the feeds of her followers.

Kirk and Owens are disgusting trolls who spew conspiracy theories, transphobia, Islamophobia, and racism. The Tweets that Dygart embraced were not just simple policy differences, They demonized trans people and pushed conspiracy theories.

With that being said she is young. Hopefully she has learned from this.

That sounds Orwellian

Yeah, I am not sure what Duffy's point is. I just know I said a lot of stupid stuff at her age. Hopefully she learns from this.

It is unfortunate that people like Kirk and Owens are seen as thought leaders of today's GOP. They are internet trolls. Only a few years ago the RNC was warning people to stay away from his organization because he was an extremist grifter........this year he spoke a the RNC Convention.
