benefit of new base bar?
I have a P2 with an alloy Vision Base bar. I upgraded my extensions and feel good with my position.

I noticed that my base bar slants upwards causing the brake levers to look almost vertical

I am considering the zipp vuka bull base bar and new levers. Would this be a noticeable savings with a more level base and more hidden levers?

I replaced mine with a Profile Design Prosvet.

Personally I don't care for flat horns, I don't want to slide off the front of them.

The Zipp Vuka is a good choice as well, a lot of people like that bar.

thank you for the response / feedback. Did you upgrade from the same vision bar that I have?

I had a 2014 P2 and a 2009 P2

The 2014 came with a Profile Design P2 wing, I never used it.

I've had the older vision basebar on my older P2

Skateboard grip tape or other “grip tape” as a little wrap on bull horns does the trick. Then run whatever you want.

From an aero savings perspective the cockpit can sometimes represent as much drag as the frame.

that's interesting! I am spending my winter gradually upgrading the front end. I plan upgrading to a new base bar and possibly stem. I recently purchased the tri rig brake. These upgrades together should be nice once spring rolls around
