How to stop a Zwift race at the finish line?
For awhile now, Zwift doesn't stop for me at the end of a Zwift race. The results screen comes up and I stop pedaling, only to see the time keep ticking and my watts going to zero in the background. I have to quickly hit ok and then exit the activity, but there is no exit button so I just hit "Let's Go" and it takes me to another world and saves the race, then I trash the new activity. My avg watts in my data averages this zero wattage time and then my race watts are higher than the activity's watts by 1-2 depending on how quickly I save and exit. Really annoying.

This seems like such a backwards way to end a race. Is it just me having this error or have others seen this?

Although this seems like a pretty irrelevant gripe (who cares about your averages? highlight the parts you want later) it should be pretty simple to stop the activity quickly. Press okay to get out of the results screen and the "a" on your keyboard to stop your avatar quickly. Hover the cursor in the bottom left of the screen and you will see an orange box that says menu, click that and you can end the ride.

Honestly though what is this about? Is it a vanity thing so your strava file shows the highest average power? Do you just finish the race and stop training immediately without a cool down? Im curious. Why not click "stay here" and spin down for 5 or 10 minutes? If you can't isolate the race using your training software its not very good.

Oh ok thanks - I’ll try this.

It used to stop the activity at the end of races. I’m not sure when it changed. It is a bit of a vanity issue. I don’t usually cooldown - I just feel like stopping at the end of most races.

Your coach must love that.

Sure, the OP can cool down and isolate the file, but you would think Zwift could just stop the race and write to a second file for activity after the race.
