I am in the southern hemisphere. did a couple in jan and feb before things shut down in march.

Self supported 70.3 on date at location of cancelled local race mid July.

this summer I did-it-myself a couple of "sprints" with a bunch of friends too. we're lucky enough to have a small swimmable lake just out of town with distance marking buoys for rc motorboats, a lakeside lawn for parking the bikes and nice nearby courses for both bike and run. events turned out to be better than many races I have paid (and traveled) for

Sounds really cool. We are building one out for next month so we can have a bit cooler weather.
There is supposed to be an Olympic in about two weeks, but I doubt it actually happens. That being said there are some trail footraces going on so it could work out for them.
Mostly I've just been working out and playing soccer.
