The Fast Blue QR PRSix2 of Allan Hovda

Fresh after a solo Norseman effort and a 24 hour ride. He is a beast, and the bike a beauty.

Nice set up. I was skeptical when I saw QR until I saw the entire bike-very nice looking and aero. Why not use the integrated bottle mount for the Sitero though? It’s super slick looking and light.

Is that the matte blue color on the frame?

It is not uncommon to have a fatter tire up front.

I think it was the other way around, you took the fatter rear because it disturbs airflow less.

love the blue... LEGO blue!

Love the QR, especially paired with certain aerobars, but that saddle clamp has to go... :(

the roval disc is 27 mm wide and the hed 80 is 30 mm, he is just using tires he feels fit each wheel. I would go wider tire for both probably but i get it.

More cushion for the pushing plus an airfoil is fatter up front than the back

Just a guess, but the newer Sitero bottle mount needs some clearance and tends to be an issue with thicker seatposts when the seat is pushed forward. You can trim it a bit to make it work but only so much. The design of the bottle mount on the previous generation Sitero was much better (and lighter.)

Kidding, but I have heard folks say they like a wider tire up front for comfort reason. But here that is surely a question for Allan

Yeah it’s gorgeous. Was about to pull trigger on a different color. Now I’m back at square one and can’t decide.

That’s a damn sexy color with the black decals.
