I have a '17 Wahoo Kickr and my bike is setup with SRAM eTap AXS using a 12 speed cassette and the flat top chain. Unfortunately the only cassettes that I can find which are compatible with the 12 speed flat top chain require an XD or XDR freehub body. Wahoo sells a conversion for the '18 and newer Kickr and Kickr Snap however they specifically state it will not work on the '17 version.
Has anyone found an aftermarket cassette that works with the 12 speed flat top chain and works with a hyperglide freehub body?
I know that the width and spindles are different on the flat top chain, but has anyone put a significant number of miles in using the flat top chain on a Shimano 11 speed cassette without issues?
