Does the extension ping the IP address to determine location? My local WeatherChannel forecast is 91/92/85/86/87 but the extension shows 84/89/86/81/83. My IP is typically from a server bank 4 hours north of my location which would lead to lower temperature forecasts.I like the idea though.

After installing the extension, the first time you open/refresh TP Chrome will ask it can use your location. I'm using Chrome's location to determine the weather and it's very likely it's using your IP address. Maybe I should add a way to overwrite your location.
