Netflix: 365 Days

Um, wtf!

Based on the little preview and description I thought it was going to be a thriller with a romantic bent.

Instead, unscramble the following words to find out what it really was.

Soft. Violent. Porn. Sex. Core.

Not that I’m a prude but I’m surprised that there were no real warnings.

Oh, also, the movie sucked...despite being number 1 in the US.

Soft. Porn. Violent.

Yep. Yep. Yep. I watched it a few weeks back and thought the same thing. WTF was that movie about? And goodness that was some graphic sex.

So you’re saying I should queue that up tonight with my wife and kid? Sweet.

When I was re overnight from surgery I had to have supervision the first couple of days to help with pills, getting to the bathroom etc.

Lying there high as a kite with my dad and whatever channel the tv was on defaulted to one of those raunchy, “teen movie” flicks from the 90’s. Uncomfortable, to say the least. My dad thought I was actually watching it, so didn’t change the channel, but really I was just too stoned to say anything. That was a weird day.

Only half way through it.. it must get better.. so far 1 decent soft core blow job.. Oh and you forgot bondage scene. then some highlight shots of sex all over.

Pretty sure there is a warning in the corner of graphic sex.

And if you really want to see how close to full on porn Netflix will show. Watch Love just not with your kids, or wife if she doesn't like porn.

.

Skip 365 Days. Pick the movie Love from the top 10 on Netflix. Let me know if the tv stays on longer than the guy in the opening scene.
I was completely shocked what that movie got away with. I have no issue with my kids seeing nudity or general sex scenes but I am a little surprised to see Netflix pushing the line that much. And to have these movies in their top 10 which likely gets tons more advertising than other movies.

Love has made the top ten.. LOL that movies been around a long time. Why are you surprised? Many have said long term, the only place Netflix has to make there stand is the more adult movies. Now yes, Love is pretty much full on a porno, I am just surprised it's only now becoming a top 10.

I think they have to be really careful - otherwise Disney and Amazon will eat their lunch. Other than Cinemax the paid channels are pretty much no soft porn. (Unless you look really hard on HBO). Why bother when you can get all the porn you want for free that is actually real porn

I just don't know if that is true. As a family with teens and a 6 yo, they consume 90% of the tv watching. We got Disney about 6 months ago and don't watch it. I feel like we went through most of the content in a couple months. And I just don't see Amazon adding new content like Netflix does. We rent from Amazon occasionally. And I think the 6 yo might watch a show on it. He certainly did years ago. But netflix still reigns supreme in our house. I tend to forget about Amazon as an option.

Maybe Netflix will pivot. I just wish this type of content had its own non top 10 category. I know my kids are going to watch it, but if it was buried a bit, then they would have to go looking for it.

Your looking at comparing them only on streaming.

Amazon has shopping and offering free streaming with prime will keep them in the streaming options.
Disney, have kids want "safe" tv here we are..
Netflix.. shopping, no... Disney's kids content..no.. But we have some good original shows and hey dad.. look over hear, for you nights without kids... so now you don't need to go to the porn sites and risk anything.. its right here in Netflix.
