Felt IA10 Frameset Headset Spacer Recommendations?
My new Felt IA10 frameset came with an uncut steerer tube, which allows me to put some headset spacers to get the stack up to my required height. I'm not using an integrated stem/basebar option as it's currently out of my budget, and I've settled on using the stock stem with an alloy aerobar. I haven't found spacers that will sit flush with the front of the bike, and traditional round spacers will leave a lot to be desired on the front end as they leave the nose area exposed. Has anyone else used spacers on this setup before? Any recommendations for aero spacers? Or will I have to fabricate my own? Tririg Delta seems to be an option, but it might add to the hassle of charging my Di2 setup.

I would use standard round spacers.

Unfortunately our Delta won’t work on the IA.

What about something like this? Maybe you could use round spacers for the actual spacing, but then modify this to surround them and maintain the integrated shape.

Also, Felt makes a base plate that is shaped to match the stem area. You could put that on the bottom, traditional spacers on top, and then hand create a filler to fit between the bar and base plate to maintain the appearance.

Thanks! I think I’ll roll with this. I don’t know if the Dagger risers (option 1) are flexible enough to do that. I guess I can use a light plastic filler, or even make some experimental DIY Carbon Fiber covers.
