Not sure what the "official" time is on this one but he just went out and did it again just a week later!

That's 'cause he's a legend

What a monster to do it again with such a fast turnaround. This adds to his legend.

I did mine the day before. Only took me 10 hours longer.

You biked for 17hrs 32min?

That's pretty impressive. My longest ride was on the trainer at 8h 30min. 17hrs seems insane.

Ya man! Slowed me down because it was a busy hill and needed 243 reps because this is the flattest place on earth. Upsides to adversity is that is that you get an article in the local newspaper.

You crazy bastard. I grew up In Regina and spent my summers at Regina Beach as my family farm is nearby. I would be worried about a driver pulling out descending that hill.

Nice! My family still has a cabin here so I come to train every year. I had one close call with a truck pulling a boat who didn't signal. After that I just hammered the brakes and didn't pass anyone on the way down. Was just in it for the long haul not the speed lol. The last mountain times even picked it up.

I rode out there today and went down the side he went up. There's a silver line spray painted on the road at the top and bottom.

I coasted down and when I passed the bottom line I was going 40mph.

I imagine he didn't even come out of his climbing gear, just climb up, turn around and after a quick spin he'd be starting to hit his brakes to do it all over again.

I wonder as an active pro if it would bother to see a retired one, albeit one of the most gifted ones, smashing your record. Apparently he did it on a 1.2 km long climb, that's about 80 reps.
