I have a friend looking for a bike computer I upgraded from edge 520 to edge 830 last year for longer battery life with garmin varia. I use the 520 sometimes when gravel or mtb. Thinking about selling it to him. What would be a fair price for a 3 year old edge 520.

I gave my old 520 to a friend last year. I figured it was not worth $100, he didn't have a computer at all and was getting into the sport. Since he was a friend and neighbor, I just gave it to him to reinforce his interest in cycling.

I sold one a year ago for $125. Probably a little low at the time but I wanted to get rid of it. If he's a friend I'd go $100

Love it. Longer battery life and makes it easy to switch between screens while riding
I sold my three year old 520 a few weeks back for $100. I bought the 1030 which I really really like. Also got the external power pack and used on a 12 hour ride to charge the 1030, my radar, my phone, and my Garmin Vivosmart HR (and it still had plenty of juice left in it).
