You looking for a Tri/TT bike or an aero road bike.

Tri bikes there are quite a few options. The Felt IA16 can be bought under 3K.

Aero road bikes are harder to find under 3K. The Specialized Allez sprint is under 3K but its aluminum, if you want carbon from a major manufacturer you may have to raise your budget.

Depends, look at second hand market, you can pick up some great stuff that is barely used but super nice.

Or if you're keen (and this may go against rules so apologies in advance, I'm half-asleep) I could try to talk you into a bright orange giant propel disc. $2500 NZD, can ship it anywhere in the world

But seriously, why buy something brand new (unless it has new features you particularly want) when it loses 20% of it's value immediately when you take it out of the shop

I'm in Belgium though but last september I bought a new 2019 model Systemsix Ultegra with a large discount because the 2020 colorways were already coming in. instead of paying 4000 euros (+-4500 dollar), I had to pay 2500 euros (+-2800 dollar). So basically I could get a 2nd hand wheelset and a Di2 upgrade and still be cheaper off than the normal price.

I second the Allez Sprint. Its alloy but its light and aero. It was on my short list when I was finally convinced to get a road bike. Ridley Noah, Canyon Aeroad CF, Pinarello Prince, and Bianchi Aria were the other bikes. All $1200- $2000 for the frame since 2019s are being discounted. These can all be built up for under $3000. Some of these include bars and brakes, so they save you money there.

The new QR SRfive 105 is now on sale for under $3,000. Decent spec on the base model and you can do upgrades over time.

I am on a PRsix and it's a really great bike. Not seen one of these as yet tho.

Haha, can always strip & repaint it ;)

Best of luck finding something that works for you!

It's never as cheap as second hand, but if you're definitely going new you can always buy framesets, bars, saddles etc to get your perfect component mix.

Kestrel Talon is 1800$ with 105 and 2000$ with Ultegra

Ceepo Mamba (frame set) is 1300$ for rim brakes or 1700$ for discs; then you should be able to keep the complete bike well under 3k

If you have time, I'd wait another couple weeks/months until MY2021 bikes are available/presented; then some bigger discounts on MY2020 should appear.
Not sure whether Canyon is an option, however they also seem to have some very steep discounts on a lot of models from summer through fall (esp. with the rumoured 2021 Aeroad update, that might be a good option)

I have an Allez Sprint. I love the bike but it doesn’t look that aero compared to a true aero road bike. It does have a narrower fork and seat post. However, the bottom tube is pretty wide. Not a bad option though, and it’s a great bike. Mine is a size 54 Ultegra, rim brake, and weighs 18 lbs.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned the Canyon Aeroad. Their least expensive model is $3K.

So much this. I'm building a road bike and I'm shocked how much cheaper it is to build. Plus, it'll be exactly what I want. I'm building a DuraAce Pinarello Prince with new top shelf parts including a powermeter and itll be under $5500, because you can seemingly buy most parts 30-50% off from one retailer or another.

Did you check out the Ventum NS1? I picked one up for < $3,000 during their recent sale. Not sure if it is still going on.

Size?

There's a size 54 Cervelo S2 for $2,200;

and another size 51 for $2,350

You just missed out on the sale MyBikeShop had on the rim brake S3

Also pretty sure that the old Felt AR (rim brake versions) are getting heavily discounted. The AR5 has a MSRP of $2,649. It would certainly be worthwhile to call a few shops to ask. FWIW, I got mine (2017 AR2) at close to 45% off, but that was before the whole tariff thing, which drove up prices. R&A seems to have smaller sizes available. This place has larger sizes

Regardless, one has to be willing to call around to sleuth out the deals

ETA: just realized you are in Europe (should have realized when you wrote the "$" at the end of the number). Sorry, can't be of much help there...

A Ventum NS1 for less than $3k?! Surely that was frame only.
