specialized diverge as a roubaix replacement?
i figured we had a roubaix replacing a gravel bike thread... why not the other way around?

the new diverge looks really nice. im not a gravel guy AT ALL, but the idea of being able to replace my current roubaix with a bike that can do double duty is very appealing.

i know the diverge has different geometry than the roubaix, but just looking at the specs online its not vastly different.

the new diverge has the same suspension (seatpost and futureshock) that the roubaix has. one can slap on some gravel wheels / tires for some offroad fun, or put on some road wheels / tires for road rides. of course youre not going to do any real road racing on it, but for someone like me that uses my road bike to just get out and log some miles, the diverge seems like it would fit both roles fairly well.

opinions?
