I've used it at the Valley of the Sun and Lake Los Angeles TTs, and never felt overheated. It seems to wick and evaporate sweat just fine. I wouldn't say it's the coolest thing I've ever worn, compared to super-thin summer jerseys, but I, personally, wouldn't hesitate to wear it at 90F.

I don’t think the Differences in thickness of the material or insulating properties vary much between speedsuits. Most of the cooling effect is going to be from evaporation of sweat. Lighter colors absorb lass heat. The mesh backs on suits like the Body Paint are cool, but you have to worry about sun roasting your back so I have to wear a t-shirt until just before the start and that can be hot.

You can get the new NoPinz stuff in lighter colors, so if I had the roll the dice on a suit, that would be my choice.

When you’ve done that hot of races, do you do short sleeve or long sleeve?

For me that plastic pocket gets surprisingly hot on mine.

Long. I've tried both, haven't found much difference, by feel. The arms are in the wind, and sweat wicks really great off the arms.

Purpose suits are made for heat, and here's the winning suit at Kona (AG):

I have a few of them and I love them.

Have raced in these in the high 90s and 100% humidity...
