Aside from the material, what is the major difference between the two? I’m interested in getting a gravel bike, but I can’t across the BMC RM X, and it appears to be a road bike with gravel wheels/tires.

I don’t have any immediate access to gravel roads, so it would most like be a minimum 30’ to get out and it would probably be more segments of road than dedicated gravel rides.

Would the RM X suffice or should I go full gravel? Are there other questions I should weigh before making a decision? Any insight would be super helpful!
