A turn for the classical, and for those who appreciate some discussion and analysis in their music.
Nahre Sol - pianist and composer who makes really cool videos with analysis of classical music. Her discussions are very approachable, and she's got a great voice for narration.
A reinterpretation of a Bach Invention in D Minor
She also does videos that highlight the styles of various well know composers
And approaches different genres from the perspective of a classical musician
A turn for the classical, and for those who appreciate some discussion and analysis in their music. Nahre Sol....
Thank you for that - I enjoyed watching those.
Here is some great music for a quarantine while. Henry Purcell's 'Music For a While'.... done acapella! I didn't think Baroque Music could be done acapella but this really works great.
Remember - It's important to be comfortable in your own skin... because it turns out society frowns on wearing other people's

John Mayer teases his new single with short clips on TikTok.
Mary Spender (Youtuber, guitarist, singer songwriter) takes those teases, and makes an attempt at filling out the rest of the songwriting, recording, producing, etc. all in advance of Mayer actually releasing his song.
Adam Neely (Youtuber, bassist, jazz musician) reharmonizes Mary's song into an 80's jam.
Rachel K Collier (Youtuber, electonic music producer) remixes Mary's song into an EDM dance song.
And John Mayer finds out about it and posts it on his instagram calling it brilliant.
Not too shabby.
Just to put a bow on this one, John Mayer sent Mary an advanced copy of his actual single, so she could hear it before the general public and do a reaction video on it. Pretty good stuff.
Been awhile since anyone posted to this thread, but seeing as how the US seems to be back in the grips of Omicron, I thought I'd offer some new material
History of Metal from the 50's to modern times
First in a 5 series video of Johnny Kinkade hand building an acoustic guitar from the TPS channel.
Rick Beato's interview with Tommy Emmanuel (he did another good one with Sting); Rick is a bit of a fanboy in these, but the interviews are still interesting.
