I love the Cube. It's such a great looking bike. You're right that it's frame is slightly lower and longer, but not by much (the wheelbase is the same, too). But the pad measurements are probably only a significant improvement compared to the P5 is you exclude the x-lo setup (mentioned by Eric above) or aftermarket bars (what I have).

The bikes lower on the list have a longer and lower frame and don't need an unusual cockpit to reach some of these pad numbers.

Is there a fit coordinate chart anywhere with the x-lo setup included? All the p5 fit charts I can find only have high and low. Or, given it's difficult to execute properly, do you think it's better to just use an aftermarket bar?

There are a few floating around. Here's one that I found:

they don't exist. They're gone. They're not/weren't safe. Very dangerous.

There's a ton of cheap aluminum extensions that can be found in any length/shape. Doesn't help much with the stack problem, but can effectively solve the reach issue, within reason.

How does an extension have any bearing on reach?

maximum pad reach is tied to the stem length / bracket mounting point

Mount the pad bracket on the extension.

If you need to mount the pads on your extensions because even the longest stem won't help, then you're putting too much weight over the front wheel

No need for updates if you need long-low.

New Speedmax, Argon, etc are all taller than the bikes in the table on page 1. The Scott will still be your best bet.

But I heard the Cadex bike will be long and low.

Too bad they're both expensive as hell....

I got the new Speedmax CF in XL, and used a Syntace Flatforce 111 stem to get it longer and lower, but it's still several cm taller than my P5 was woth undermounted extensions. You could get it lower with an extreme negative stem, but that would look odd on a tri bike.

I thought that might be the case.
I have the old speedmax cf slammed on the aeria 100mm stem. still doens't feel long enough even with the saddle setback as far as it allows

I'm thinking about the case of integrated aerobar setups, most of which have relatively short stems. If you can swap out stems for a longer one then thats def the better option.
