80/20 plan to Zwift as structured workout?
Hey ST,

Anyone out there with insights into whether Training Peaks 80/20 plan workouts are compatible with structured workout exports into Zwift?

I have 80/20 plan sessions on my Training Peaks calendar, but am not seeing a Training Peaks dropdown in my Zwift workout library.

However, I’m new to Zwift and unsure whether it is user error or an issue with the criteria for structured workouts. Input welcome.

Go to training peaks
Click on workout
On the window that pop up, right side near the top there is an arrow that points down, click on it
Download the zwo file.
Put file in your zwift workout folder
Start zwift and pick your workout.

the video link is much easier. It automatically populates the 80/20 workouts into Zwift

Thanks; I’ve connected my training peaks and Zwift accounts as illustrated in that video. However, I don’t see my scheduled workouts from TP within the Zwift workout library.

TP states only structured workouts* are compatible with the automated export feature. So, I wondered whether the 80/20 plan sessions meet that criteria.

Have you successfully exported 80/20 sessions to Zwift?

*Supported structured workout types -Duration (as a % of FTP (Power)) and RPE for bike workouts and, distance and % of FTP (pace) for running workouts. Cadence supported for bike workouts

ON the start page with the "world choice"

Under the "ride type" click on "training"

The first choice is "Training peaks custom workouts"

If you have a workout for that day it should be there

I assume you purchased the 80/20 plan rather than downloaded their workouts from the website. If you Downloaded from their library then it won’t work. Have to purchase the plan or do the subscription. Good luck

Purchased through TP, which automatically populated my training calendar.

At a loss as to why my custom workout library is empty. Completed sessions are synching from Zwift to TP, so I know the connection is good. I’ll keep playing around with it.

Make sure you are selecting under the workout tab rather than the plan tab

And make sure you have a workout for today o/w nothing shows up

Good luck

It’s a cool feature

Technology hates me. The cooler the feature, the more it eludes me.

im an 80/20 endurance subscriber. the bike workouts in TP sync up with zwift and automatially populate, however due to zwifts inability to put any sort of time or effort in the most basic aspect of their running side that would benefit their end users, run workouts do not. so here i am with all the technology and a little white board from walmart that i write my run workouts on while im on the dreadmill.

I just sync TP to Garmin Connect and get the workouts on my watch every day.

i do this running outside, but i’ve gotten so used to the visual reference of the entire workout from structured bike workouts on the computer i want to see the entire thing at a glance when i’m on the treadmill.

It will only automatically show that days workout, not future or past workouts.
