I recently brought a pristine Titanflex frame and had it built up with the first generation Sram Etap. Just got word from the shop that it will not work. The problem is the crank arm hits the front derailleur. The shop called Sram and verified I had the smaller recessed limit screws. That is when they told the shop the frame was too old to accept the group. I had read a blog from a Titanfex owner who had successfully installed Etap. Maybe is was when of the newer updated models? Has anyone else had these same issue? Is there anything I an do to modify/change the FD to make it fit? Besides wanted the use Etap, I have removed all the internal cable housings and worried it will be hard the route new ones.
