Just came across USA Cycling and the Pro's Closet announcement of a partnership on March 3. Read into the press release and it was pretty vague/seemed like a meaningless partnership. "Licensed riders will benefit from The Pro’s Closet Certified Pre-Owned program which includes a 141-point inspection and parts replacement service so that every bike purchased is in near-as-new condition" isn't that what the Pro's Closet is doing for every paying customer? and "USA Cycling is proud to work with The Pro’s Closet in our efforts to lower the barrier to entry for racing for all riders" how does throwing your name in connection with a bike re-seller help in those efforts? Sigh...
