I will do a cold water ultra marathon swim (21 km) in the coming August. I have found a marathon run race (42 km) nearby as well, 2 weeks after the marathon swim I have signed up.

Will it be a good idea to do them both, or should I schedule my marathon swims and marathon runs in different seasons?
