Critique my track fit
Hello ST,

Here is my fit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMWI3Qf6TMs
Picture from race a few days ago: https://imgur.com/a/SmuD0IK

I'm a track sprinter and about 185lb or 84kg and about 5'10. Have been messing with my fit myself and am not sure where to go from here.

Bike is a 55cm with a 100mm stem flipped down. Bars are Pro compact 36cm. Saddle is a Specialized power arc 143mm. Cleats are currently all the back on Spesh Torch 2.0. Cranks are 167.5mm

Thoughts currently:
-curl toes pedaling on right foot but not on left
-fit feels okay but off.
-doesn't look very aero
-Thinking about going longer and lower. Sprinting is short so comfort isn't a huge priority but it would be nice.

Thank you!

Trackie

Your picture and video are not in a sprint position. They're in a warmup/soft-pedalling position. It'd be more helpful to see what your position is when it's go-time.

In that position your arms are going to be bent, and your head will come down towards the stem.

These guys are in the go-time position as track sprinters. As you can see if varies from true nose-to-stem, to a less aggressive position like the Kiwi. It all depends on where you can generate power.

I'm eyeball-guessing that you'll be a a bit cramped in length given your current setup, particularly since it's common to scoot forward on the saddle during go-time. But the "low" will come from you, not by lowering the bars.
