Training Plan Poll

Since my response is not fully covered, I'd figure I'd write my preferences down.

For swimming, the session workouts are from the coach. The non-coached sessions are of my design.
For cycling, it's TrainerRoad (except during 'cross season then it's a combination)
For running, it's my design.

I only do short-course racing so I don't have long-term plans.

I'm also a bit of a mix. Use TR as a starting point, but then tweak it quite a bit to fit what I know works well for me, as well as accommodating some group rides.

The poll isn't "what do you do now", it's "what WOULD you use if it were all free".

I can kind of understand why someone would want to do it on their own (no coach knows me like I know me) and maybe kinda, but not really, understand no formal plan folks. But I'm amazed that 1 out of 10 would prefer a canned plan out of a book over a coach who could tailor training specifically for you.
