Anyone out there interested in trying swim/run?
I'm a ultrarunner, but have been doing ironman for past 2 years. Bike is my weakest event and I think swim run looks like fun. At least you get to look even more ridiculous than in a triathlon so I'm in.
I'm looking for a partner of similar ability. My ironman swim split is 50 mins (with a cozumel current!) and my stand alone marathon is 2:56.
I'd like to do 4 or 5 north american events this year to try and qualify for the world championship race in 2021 (total 40 miles running and 6 miles swimming).
Or if anyone has ideas on how to find a partner that would be great. It's proven challenging! I've tried various facebook groups and event partner pairing things without much luck.
