Turf toe with old fit
I'm beginning to get some joint pain in my right big toe. On top of that I've had some recent issues with (what seems like) PTT on the same foot/ankle.

I'm wondering if it's from my cycling. I've been in the same fit for about 2 years now with no problems and the same shoes. No change in volume or intensity. Is it possible to grow out of a fit or somehow become in need of a new fit?

I’d guess its more likely something changed - shoe insert worn out, seat worn out maybe - and thus changing the fit.

The other thing is we tend to drift in how we position ourselves on the bike. Even if nothing changed on the bike, how you sit on it might have.

Do those count as “growing out of a fit”?

What shoes, pedals, and insoles? How long have you been running all of these?
All of these parts can wear and eventually create issues.

Even something like worn cleats, or a broken down insole-

Bont Blitz, Shaimano, and specialized inserts. They are all about two years old. Used maybe 30% of the time for cycling. Have another setup for triathlon bike.
