If you have the GRX 810 crank, you can get a Stages installed and there shoud be clearance. The wider Q-factor and wider splay of the GRX crank allow it to clear wider chainstays with Stages Gen3. Open is similar to 3T Exploro (both Gerard Vroomen), see here:



I have since switched to Felt Breed (3T is in the classifieds, y'all!), with GRX810 crankset, and despite the bump on this chainstay the Stages clears this too:

Thanks for the pictures, that's very helpful. I do have the GRX 810 crank but it looks like the Exploro might have more clearance. I have around 5mm where the chainstay flairs out and around 7mm clearance where the Stages battery door would go. I've got an email out the Gerard, so we will see what he says.
