The only Liftime race I've done is indoors, and I thought it seemed great and increased access that USAT membership or 1 day license was not required for that. I didn't realize Lifetime didn't use them for their outdoor races, either.

Lifetime made the decision to go unsanctioned in 2019, previously all races were sanctioned. I have no idea why they chose not to do that, it's a bit of a disservice considering a sanctioning fee for the size of promotion Lifetime is, is minimal.
