Swami’s Cyclist killed. Help family?
Quote | Reply
Kevin was struck by a hit and run driver in Escondido on Saturday, November 23. The driver of the car was on the wrong side of the road, traveling at high speed on a blind curve when he hit Kevin head-on, killing him instantly.

Kevin leaves behind a wife and 1 year old son. Consider helping them, please.

From what I hear, it was incredibly traumatic for the ones on the ride. I wish there was something we could do for them, but maybe supporting Kevin’s wife and son will provide some sort of emotional support to the riders, knowing that people know and care.

Oh shit Jane, that is brutal to hear. Cant tell you how many times I used to do that ride, know right where this happened. I'm not sure if I knew Kevin or not, sounds like a younger guy maybe??

This is close to home for a lot of us, this was/is a staple ride for locals and all visiting triathletes and cyclists.. )-;

Hey all. It wasn't on the swamis ride route or a swamis ride. It was on La Honda by daley ranch. His cycling club Celo Pacific has also set up a go fund me for his son.

The cycling community suffered a devastating loss this weekend. Celo would like to support the Lentz Family by establishing a college fund for their son Lawson. Celo is a registered 501c3 corporation and all contributions are tax deductible.
Please make your contributions by using Celo’s PayPal account:
