Debating coming to the US to race the full in St George. Course looks beautiful and surround area great for a vacation.
Main question is how stacked will the field be? Appreciate this is very subjective question and as it's a Championship event, would definitely expect a lot of talent to be out there, but trying to gauge our chances of nabbing a slot. Course looks like it suits both my wife (35-40) and myself (40-45).
Our only previous experience of a Championship event is having done S.Africa multiple times and if we were fit and raced well we would fully expect to be in the mix for a slot there (not AG winning, but def' at the pointy ended of the pack). Our only experience of N.American races is Kona and we're def' not FOP there. Any thoughts appreciated.
Also any advise as to where to stay would be great.
