Looking to beef up my library some with more reading material. What books do you have that are essential? They can be training books or memoirs, autobiography, etc.
I have Fast Track Triathlete by Matt Dixon, Be IronFit by Don and Melanie Fink, Endure by Alex Hutchinson, and Running and Being by George Sheehan. Obviously, lots of room to expand.
Looking forward to some recommendations! Thinking this will be my go to for when people ask what they can get me for Christmas.
I liked The Brave Athlete. Also, a good read not related to tri but about challenge is The Impossible Climb by Mark Synnot.
I miss you "Sports Night"
Born to Run
the world's still turning? >>>>>>> the world's still turning
"How Bad Do You Want It?: Mastering the Psychology of Mind over Muscle" from Matt Fitzgerald.
Really enjoyed reading that book. Very easy and entertaining read.
Once a Runner is a classic novel focused on distance running in the '70s by John Parker. Barbarian Days: A Surfing Life won the author, William Finnegan, a Pulitzer. A fantastic memoir of his lifelong stoke. Iron War, of course, by Matt Fitzgerald. Happy reading!

Here are some good ones off the top of my head: Going Long, Triathletes Training Bible, Once a Runner, The Rider, Gold in the Water, Swim Speed Secrets, Fast After 50.
Faster: The Obsession, Science and luck behind the world's fastest cyclists - Michael Hutchinson
The Obree Way - Graeme Obree
Training:
Scientific Training for Triathletes
The Triathlete's Guide to Training with Power
Both by Phil Skiba
And for motivation:
Running for my Life
By Lopez Lomong
Incredible story.
