Apparently Disney+ had a rough day with lots of service outages, customers unable to login, able to sign up and pay but unable to download the apps to their consoles or smart TVs, content that wasn't scaled correctly for viewing, specific movies or shows that were unavailable, etc.
Sounds like they have some work to do to get a polished product in place that can handle the demand signal.
Not sure how isolated those issues were, but they seem to be getting fairly wide press coverage.

I wasn’t planning on adding Disney+. We have youtubetv, Netflix, Hulu, amazon prime and hbo in demand.
My 14 year old daughter asked if we could add it. I asked her “why?”
She said “Dad, it has all of the OG shows I watched as a kid. I can watch Hannah Montana, phineas and ferb and all of the movies I grew up with”.
I was shocked that she cared about these shows. I’d rather she watch those shows than the bachelor or housewives of Milwaukee. .
So we added it.
I heard her on the phone with a friend talking about her plans to binge watch old Disney stuff all weekend.
My 14 year old daughter asked if we could add it. I asked her “why?”

^^^This. The Netflix GUI does not cater to movie watchers. I would love it they did a single feed, with just movie previews. One with their programming and another feed with just movies. Is that too much to ask. And don't get me started on the GUI for Prime.

We had this conversation with our 14 year old last night. She talked mostly about the movies we would have available. Avengers/Star Wars etc.
I suspect we'll have it by Xmas...
