def agree frodo being out injured helped. See Lange as more likely to win again in the next two years than any of the other contenders

Yes, he has been for some time. Too bad he had that problem before Rio :(

I read that he had an ear infection coming to the race, but yeah, his short course days are over. I was amazed about his really, really bad swim, and even more by how he managed the approach to T2. I would have expected someone with his experience moving up to the front of the pack approaching T2.
