Looking at the V3 for my TT bike. Have Powertaps on my roadie. Wondering if cleats are compatible....

Technically they're slightly different.

Practically speaking, I use them interchangeably and as long as the cleats are brand-spakin' new, you can usually get away with it without issue. For reference, I rode P2 pedals on my road bike today, yet the KICKR bike has Garmin Vector pedals on it. And another bike I'm testing has Favero Assioma pedals on it.

It might bother some folks, but I've been doing it for years.

Did you end up buying the Garmins? I'm in the exact same boat as you. If you did, notice any difference?

Yes, have noticed no difference other than the Garmin’s are much lower profile and lighter AND integrate easier with the Garmin ecosystem..

Thanks! Just what i wanted to hear. so you had the powertap cleats on your shoes, installed the garmin pedals on another bike and the shoes/cleats still work great? i think i have about 5 pairs of shoes i use with the powertap cleats, lol, and changing them all over sounded like a pain.

Honestly, my bike has not left my Kickr since I installed them. They fit fine but are loose . Have not bothered adjusting the tension due to being indoors...

For what it's worth, I use the standard Look Keo cleats with my Vector 3 pedals. I do pursuit starts at the track and I can't pull them out but then I'm not a big guy either.
