side load bottle cages

any suggestions on side load bottle cages?

was considering this one. https://www.amazon.com/.../ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1

switching up my BTA hydration. Decided I just don't like drinking from a straw and would rather just have a bottle.

I think I use that same cage on my mountain bike. Ive never had an issue with it, but I do use a camelback more often than a bottle with that bike.

I think the only other side loading cage I have used was made by portland design works. I don't have any complaints about those either.

I have this one: https://www.amazon.com/...ng-goods&sr=1-16

You can side load from either side.

Interesting. That a little more closed on the sides than a typical side loader that I’ve seen. Little more flexible with grabbing from either side.

Just put this one on my bike, small frame so had to go with side. Plus I love cats so it was a win win

I have the Xlab Side kick mounted BTA on my Trek SC. It works great and doesn't lose bottles.

This is my end all, be all cage for BTA, no more rattling bottle with on course refills. All bottle fit, no matter what size, shape.

I have the specialized Z cage, the third one listed by euskaltri below. Works fine for me. Just decide which hand you like using to drink with and it's pretty easy. Never lost a bottle in either the large 24 oz or the smaller 16 oz size. Sometimes I'll freeze half a bottle so the drinks stay cold for longer hot rides and even with the added weight I have not had one fall out. The roads here in the Hudson Valley are not great either. I'd buy again, but I'm not too picky.

Great things never come from comfort zones.

Arundel SideLoader.

My partner has it on their bike, inside their bike frame for many years. No bottle lost yet.

I ended up going with this one. I’m not too worried but the extra weight. I have another arundel cage and it’s worked great

Arundel makes really solid products. I have used their mandible model for many years. Not cheap, but very effective.

It's very disappointing that no-one has acknowledged this post... Kudos.

That’s has some good recommendations. Might have to decided on some new rear bottle cages as I launched a bottle and my tools from the rear cages this past weekend at IM Chattanooga.
