Hi,

My wife is having some strange knee problems. It ONLY happens after a run when it is cold and humid (like today here in the bay area). She got back from a 1h run in the rain, after 5 minutes or so major pain started below her left kneecap, almost impossible to move the knee at that point. She iced the knee for 15/20 minutes and the pain was gone, no swelling and no pain while running. It does not seem to happen when the temperature is higher and it is not humid.

I looked around in a few knee books that I have (I had meniscus surgry myself) and could not find anything. Anybody else heard about something like this ?
