Elite Bicycles Introduces Free Technical Service



PHILADELPHIA (February 1, 2004) -- Elite Bicycles, Inc. has once again raised the bar in customer service. Beginning in 2004, all Elite Bicycle owners will receive free technical service at all WTC-sanctioned Ironman and Half-Ironman events in the United States. Service will be provided by technicians from Inside-Out Sports, sponsor of the 2004 Elite Bicycles Racing Team.



David Greenfield, owner of Elite Bicycles, explains why the company is offering this free service. “I try and make it a practice to get to as many races as possible during the season so that I can support all of the athletes on race day, and especially Elite owners. However, at the rate at which Elite is growing, I can no longer guarantee that I can get to every race, or if I am there, that I will personally be available to personally provide the pre-race service. It’s getting harder and harder, and that’s a good and bad thing for us.” As a solution, Greenfield contacted Cid Cardosa, Jr., owner of Inside-Out Sports, who agreed to ensure that all Elite Bicycles competitors would be well cared for.



In order to receive service, Elite Bicycle owners participating in a WTC Ironman or Half-Ironman race need only to go to the Inside-Out Sports expo booth, which is present at every race, and simply schedule their bike in for service with Inside-Out Sports’ technicians. The Elite Bicycle owners will not have to pay any labor costs.



In the coming months, Elite Bicycles will expand this service with the introduction of the Elite Bicycles Racing Team.
