indoor bike storage systems
I have 2 bikes- a mountain bike and a new road bike
I live in NYC so saving space is the first priority
what do people recommend for indoor bike storage systems-
and which system will save the most space?
also, please remember that I would like to use it for both bikes, and if possible, spend less than $100
Am I dreaming?

Performance Bike makes this stand.

Very sturdy steel construction, $80. I think there is a Performance shop in NYC too, so you won't have to pay the shipping charges.

There was a thread here a month ago on this topic. Based on that, I ended up getting http://www.deltacycle.com/storage/leonardo.php which allows the bike to be stored vertically with wheels against the wall.

Hey Gabru,

I have the Delta Michaelangelo 2 Bike wall rack. Picked it up for a about $63.00 ($83.00 can). It was a great deal and I could not pass it up. It works great and is easy to adjust. I have a FSR XC and a TCR Zero and they sit perfectly on there together.

Good luck in your search.

Thanks for the responses
Tried to search for the previous post about storage racks, did not find it..
anyways, the delta michaelangelo seems more what I am looking for..
how does it stay up without any connection/screw to the wall it rests on.. is it sturdy and extremely heavy?
and finally, does anyone have any opinions about the Gear Up storage rack that stands from floor to ceiling? Topeak i think makes a similar style storage rack as well

The delta michaelangelo is flaired at the bottom and there is a single piece that sticks out of the top with a rubber knob the touches the wall at the top. The bottom flair has two rubber feet that do not move. It is a very slick way to hang the bikes in the house. My problem is that I do not have more room to hang my other two bike.
