I have had the good fortune to live near 2 of the top 10 donut shops in the country.
Bill's Donuts in Ohio and Lone Star Bakery outside of Austin

Generally a cruller guy, but I do miss spudnuts from Charlottesville. Simple, potato based, and a great dunker in coffee

Where in North Van? I’m going to have to go there next time I’m in town. Honey’s in Deep Cove was a regular stop after some North Shore rides.

On Lonsdale above the highway. It’s a little hole in the wall and their hours can be a bit irregular.

Hmm, I’m sure some sort of North Shore donut ride could be arranged - start at Honeys (go early to avoid the crowds), head to Harmony. There must be something at the Quay and in West Van. Or head over the second narrows and manage to hit Luckys and Cartems on the way to Granville Island and Lee’s. I’d have to get into biking shape for that - it’s a goal to aspire to for 2020.

If you do it, please call it the "torus tour"

maybe she's born with it, maybe it's chlorine
If you're injured and need some sympathy, PM me and I'm very happy to write back.

Crullers, how is this even a question? They're light, fluffy, sweet and disgusting greasy... IOW perfect!

I knew a topology professor who couldn't tell his coffee cup from his donut.

I don't eat donuts, but if I did I'd have me a glazed old fashioned.
