The USAT pre-race briefing on youtube says the current water temp in lake Erie is 73 degrees. Was the race wetsuit legal in years past?

Last years Olympic was wetsuit legal.

Last year lane was over temp at registration Friday.
Saturday morning they must have found a cool part of the lane and it was wetsuit legal.
I was in the last wave and by then no way was it wetsuit legal.
I totally overheated by the first bouy.
Be prepared for anything.
