I'm a big fan of Brenton Ford's Youtube channel Effortless Swimming. Here he reviews a prototype of a wearable device that looks pretty cool to me.

Interesting tech! I also enjoy their videos but I really question a lot of the paces of the swimmers they state in their Feedback Friday videos and so on.. They definitely don't swim the stated paces in the videos and most of them don't have the technique to average those paces in a 1-2k swim either. Seems often they're stating a time in mm:ss/100m but they wouldn't even average that pace per 100y. In a video from I believe 1-2 weeks ago they show a swimmer who was supposedly swimming 1'26"/100m but he seemed to struggle just swimming 2'/100m.
