Hi I'm curious if there are any adverse effects to mixing high five energy source at twice its recommended strength to make 90g of carb per 500ml bottle I've found a 2kg tub for 7quid and wondered if it was something worth experamenting with

I don't use high five, so i don't really know about taste and also can't give you advice about carb intake.

But i think main problem with "double dose" might be sugar level. I mean, it might be so sweet it will make you even more thirsty. Which is not something most people would want during race or even training.

At 7 bob for 2kg, why are you asking our permission to experiment?!

FWIW, I've accidentally double-dosed High5 before and it was on the sweet side.
