I agree that is why I said the garment material is more important than the color.

I have done most of my racing in Arizona Hawaii where the temps are usually in the upper 80s or low 90s.

Ice in your hat at every aid station. It slowly drips down your head and keeps you cool.

Ice down the front of your tri kit. You may go numb, but a chilled nether region does wonders to cool your body.

Sponges on each shoulder (like '80s style fashion shoulder pads).

LOTS and LOTS of water and electrolytes
