Bike Rental In France
I'm spending a week in France in August with my wife to celebrate a wedding anniversary. The last time I was in Grenoble, I swore that I would ride the next time I was back.

Well, the time is now. We will fly into Nice and spend one day there and then drive to Annecy for the next 3 days before heading back to Antibes. Annecy is going to be the best place to ride I think.

Any input at all is welcomed. I will not take a bike but I want to learn about renting one. Helmets, shoes, pedals.....what would I need to have. Guided or on our own?

Annecy is a hike from Nice

Bring pedals, shoes, helmet etc

There will be plenty of places to rent a bike - really great cycling close to Antibes - in to the Alpes Maritime

for example

You dont need a guide - https://www.cycling-challenge.com/...-climbs-lake-annecy/

It is a hike, but it saved $900 in airfare and gives us a chance to visit family on the coast. Win, win.

I'll check those links out with my wife.

Thanks.
