(Psst- I think you're lost. Unless the runners were escaping with their guns/ maga hats/ I heart Trump signs or maybe if there was beer involved, you're in the right place. Special considerations give to hotties. None of those were evidenced in your video.)

50+ beer mile might be acceptable in the LR.

New event - bourbon mile. Every 100 yards you have a shot of bourbon and talk shit for a while. By the halfway mark you'll forget what you were running from and just have another bourbon.

I'm beginning to think that we are much more fucked than I thought.

That's very impressive.

I ran 4:26 in high school. Last fall I ran an all out 400m in 78. That made me feel really slow. Whae especially sucked was that at no point did I feel like I was sprinting. I felt like I was pacing myself for a 5k, but just got winded really fast.

I'm 46 and about 40lbs heavier than when I was in high school.

My saving grace was running a decent sized turkey trot last November and figured I was the 2nd fastest 190+ lb runner in the race.

wow..you're right..how did I manage to wander over here?? maybe would have been ok to post in here if the winner was wearing a MAGA hat or beer mile. one of my proudest athletic achievements has been a 7:59 beer mile at 57 yrs old.

BTW, one of my greatest talents is I've never finished better than dead last in a chugging contest. I don't think I can drink 4 beers in 8 minutes, let alone run a mile. And I'm pretty sure I won't be running an 8 minute mile at 57!

Point of clarification. Are we 50+ or are we drinking 50+? Because I'm going to have to stop to pee if it is the second.
