Best bento box for older P2 NO top tube mounting bosses

I’ve seen the video adding mounting bosses but wanted to see what people have done without adding them

Double sided scotch tape (I think the exterior 20-30lb test) with the Torhans BentoX. Had to get creative with a dremel on the bento to make it fit around the rear brake cable entering the top tube. No issues with this setup in the last year.

Look at the top tube bags from darkspeedworks. Don't remember the model number I have, but it works great

The aesthetics of a bento with straps drivers me nuts. I know that's ridiculous, but it does. So........3M makes a Velcro-like (but stronger) material that very firmly "clicks" together--I put two pieces on the bottom of the bento and the top tube and it works very well. You can find it at hardware stores, and probably Target/Walmart./Amazon.

When I did my Sprint triathlon I used a Stealth Pocket 100 because I didn't need too much. For training though I put a Rocket Pocket XL on there as I like to carry more items including my phone.

Note: Disclaimer: I do work for XLAB and the Stealth Pocket 100 below is an older model - this is a very old pic from around 2013. The zipper goes the other way now.

I tried the plastic / click together 3M Velcro. In some directions it’s really strong, but in others I found it popped of quite easily - like when you lean your bike sideways when your stood over it and the bag rests on your inner thigh ...

Flat topped top tube ? This worked great for me with 3M VHB, the thick stuff with the spongy core :
