How useful was your gun?

Without guns, you may not have a school to drive to, so, pretty fucking useful.

I don't disagree with that comment at all.

But our constitution allows citizens the right to have certain guns based on qualifications through background checks.

Which guns, specifically, does your Constitution allow? And where might I find the part in the Constitution pertaining to background checks?

Pew pew guns. Bang bang guns. Pow pow guns. All kinds of guns.

The section on background checks may only be viewed by US citizens. Sorry ...

Bang bang guns are inherently more dangerous than pew pew guns. They should be banned.

Can we bring Israel and short term conscription (gun training) into this?

I mean, just sayin. If you require everyone to serve even just 2 years and take firearms training in that environ, you'd save lives. Maybe not postal mental cases, but accidents possibly. Maybe make it right after HS.

Your qualification to gun ownership is your 2 years conscription before age 21.

I'm against conscription, but if it ended the mess we have now.......I'd give my 2 years and trained how to handle a weapon properly.

I just solved the mass shooting problem.

All guns have to be pink.

The vast majority of mass shooters are straight men. What straight man is going to be cool with pulling out a bag of pink guns and shooting people with them?

I think he was referring to the usefulness of a gun in the US. In Afghanistan I can certainly see this gun's usefulness.
BTW, why is he walking in front of the truck? Wouldn't it be safer behind it if there is a anti personal landmine? Or maybe he is looking for IED activated by the bigger weight of a vehicle?

Wasn’t really using them plus having thoughts of suicide prompted me to sell them.

Pretty good reason to sell them. But what about knives? Did you sell your knives? Any bridges of cliffs nearby? Those should all be sealed off for your protection. And railroads. And highways.

Don't mean to be an ass. It is just in the spirit of LR overreaction/all or nothing BS. :-)
