How much running are you able to do now?

I have my date for my HTO - August. Wish me luck!

As much as I want! Problem is, I don’t want to do much! I’m in a slump that’s all in my head.

I might not have mentioned it but I did Ironman AZ in 2018…..4 years after the surgery and had a great run considering nutrition issues that bogged me down. The knee was absolutely no issue whatsoever and, in my training, my pace was as good as it ever was.

You’ll get back to it too. Just be patient, do what the surgeon says and what the PT says, and try not to let depression in. You’ll need to find ways to keep motivated. For me, I took up coaching local athletes and cheering them on at track workouts and stuff. And I watched all the races I could.

Good luck! I’m in your corner and have a prayer going upward for ya!

Cheers,

Awesome! Hang in there through the rehab and recovery period and you’ll be back at it before you know it. Good luck!
