I got a Specialized Transition s-works and I’m trying to change all cables and housing. The front derailleur housing has been cut near the stem and I’m trying to pull the housing up from the frame. It’s stuck, any tips?

This is a known warranty issue, I take it to my specialized shop and they send it off to remove the cable.
Not sure how they remove it, brute force doesn't seem to work.

Ok thanks! What a bizarre defect. Yes I yanked on it with all my might!
I have read that sports drink can get in there and make it stick. Could you try dumping not water down the hole?
