Doesn't seem too concerned about other critical elements of bike position beyond saddle height and cockpit distance. Elite athletes are really good at being elite athletes. I'm just going to continue to celebrate their athletic performances and leave it at that.

50/37 chainrings are pretty huge.
Nice to see a pro wrenching his own bike.

To be fair the bike fit part was probably done ages ago. Presumably he's been sent all the right bits to meet his fit so that is pretty much all he needs to be concerned about isn't it? I also got the impression he was talking about setting his bike after travel, which is what he does a lot of.
BTW Does he have many draft legal aero bar options for that bike? I've seen a few GB women use aero bars when they haven't before so I was hoping the whole GB team was more open to it now. I worry they will get left behind, especially in the relay, if they are not open to experimenting a bit.

Bike Fit is a subject I'm adamant about. I'm a snob on this subject. Bike Fit is important and it's poorly understood by the vast majority of athletes in our sport. So if there's a respected, pro with a big following then I want that opportunity for them to say something like this:
"I had my bike fit coordinates sent to my sponsor and they built this bike to my precise numbers before shipping it to me. I still like to draw a tape to confirm the seat height and the cockpit, but naturally my team hit it perfectly and I'm ready to ride".
--or, and I've heard and had respect for pros who say this---
"I don't really know anything about bike and I'm a piss-poor mechanic. I know my jog is to make this bike go fast and I have employed experts in the field to make sure the bike isn't holding me back"
The assumption that a new bike comes out of the box with the setback perfect- we'll that just hits a similar nerve to what that Nazi did to Dustin Hoffman's character in Marathon Man, "is it safe?" "is it safe?".

Cool bike, interesting video.
But, holy toledo, that axs RD is friggin huge. Presents a big honkin' brick to the wind. Makes my ultegra 11s mechanical (6800 series) RD look like a slender supermodel ...

Yeah, THIS. It's an aero BRICK back there.
Must offset all the "no cables showing anywhere" benefits, and then some.
Plus - it's a a real brick, just not very attractive to look at, on an otherwise sexy steed.
float , hammer , and jog

Doesn't take much bike porn to get you going...
Indoor Triathlete - I thought I was right, until I realized I was wrong.
Is it me or does JB always look slightly wrong on his bike. His head is really high and his pedal doesn't look smooth. Given that he and AB are strong so like to attack off the front I'm surprised I don't have aerobars. I think he tried some recently but we haven't seen them again. Last year at the Nottingham, or Commonwealth, relays there is a great example of JB sitting higher on his bike with an Aussie following on his aerobars. Must be 100w plus difference?
