Another vote for Canberra. Best riding this side of Tasmania, has it all, Road, MTB, endless fire trails for Gravel, extensive network of bike paths, you hardly need a car unless you have kids as everything is close by especially if you live in the inner south or inner north. Added bonus of being close to ski in winter.
